The EUAPPTIVE consortium held its fifth and final Monitoring Meeting in Gijón, Spain, bringing together all project partners to review progress, validate final deliverables and coordinate the closing steps of the project. Representatives from the following partner organisations participated:

The meeting took place on the afternoon of 19 November and focused on work packages, reporting obligations and upcoming milestones as the project approaches its final phase.

Final Deliverables and Reporting
Sport Innovation Hub (SIH) led the meeting and confirmed that four final deliverables must be completed by the end of the month, i.e. by the November 30, 2025, marking the official close of EUAPPTIVE:
- Quality Assurance Report
- TPM5 Report
- Challenge Final Report
- Final Communication & Dissemination Report
The session had focus on the recently completed #BeActive Challenge, which was running from July 1,2025 to September 30, 2025, culminating during the European Week of Sport 2025 (September 23–30, 2025).
- The Challenge aimed to promote daily physical activity among elderly European citizens, encouraging everyone to be more active and to start with just 15 minutes of movement per day. It was built around accessibility, inclusivity and motivation, targeting especially for the less active and elderly population.
- According to the final results the representatives out of 31 European municipality took part in #BeActive Challenge 2025, the top three cities with the highest participation in physical activity were:
- Lepoglava (Croatia)
- Vila Nova de Poiares (Portugal)
- Kaysery (Turkey)
- These cities will be formally recognized for their engagement in physical activity at the ACES Gala Ceremony, to be held at the European Parliament in Brussels on December 11, 2025.
To secure the final project payment, SIH highlighted the need to finalize both the technical narrative report and the communication components. A full list of deliverables and links will be prepared and shared so that all partners can verify uploads to the project website.
The meeting concluded with agreement on the deadlines for final deliverables, upcoming communication tasks, and preparations for project closure. All partners will continue coordination to ensure successful final reporting and dissemination of the project’s results.
